Five days of literature, debate films and poetry in Stavanger

Kapittel, Stavanger international festival for literature and freedom of speech, is an annual festival, arranged by Sølvberget. Kapittel 20 is on from 16th until 20th of September 2020.

Kapittel, Stavanger International Festival for Literature and Freedom of Speech, is an annual festival organised by Sølvberget Library and Cultural Centre.

Kapittel is the second largest literature festival in Norway, and maintains a strong focus on international literature and social issues, in particular freedom of expression. The aim of the festival is to bring new literary voices to its audience, and to be a venue for a wide and interesting range of fiction and non-fiction from Norwegian and international writers.
